Imirak no offense, but y u no get better gear? I.E. Signet of Argas, Spaulders of the Hero, LFH, etc. Or just BOA's?

Anyway, congratulations! I'm envious!

I'm grinding lvl 28-29 mobs, so I'm wearing the shoulders for the +hit and the gloves for the +expertise

I haven't grindied out any BOAs yet as I havn't done much pvp yet and my DMF tokens are going for mounts & pets.

I'll get there eventually. I'm fully aware that there are still upgrades for my toon :p

It is tedious and is definitely the longest grind I've ever done in a game.

What really helps is that my gf is locked in on her graduate thesis so I have a lot of free time for another month or so while she finishes that up. I just listen to albums I like while I'm playing and barely even notice the grind as it passes by. Two more albums and I'm done!

She's a veteran wow pet collector so I know she's jealous of the Hatchling! :p

OK! I am now Exalted with all Steamwheedle factions

Killing 10-12K of the level 14-16 Southsea Pirates (mostly for Darkmoon slayer quest & tokens for the Lovely Black Dress) put me at Exalted with Booty Bay, Everlook and Gadgetzan, but those mobs capped Ratchet at Revered.

The lowest-level mobs to grant Ratchet rep to Exalted without lowering Bloodsail Rep were the level 28-29 Venture Co. Goblins near Zul'Gurub. At 2.5 rep per mob, it required only 8400 mobs to reach exalted. Grinding out as a level 20 meant this took a lot more time than if I was just being carried by an 85 P2P account.

Since they drop about 1s apiece, I did pick up the "Got My Mind on the Money Achievement" about halfway through.

I also picked up the Razzashi Raptor along the way, and still have a very outside shot (1% or so) at the Hyacinth Macaw over the remaining 800 kills it will take to max out the Exalted bar (why stop now)

That's a lot of mobs!
