Never knew or played with the man but this is never something to pass by without a respectful thought

top bloke RIP

Is it possible to post it on the Blizzard forums for the in-game memorial day/time and see if any Blizzard forum reps will give it a sticky? Not sure if they would be accomadating to that, but it may be worth a shot.

That is a great idea. Sadly I don't have US forum access. Looking for someone to create a thread with something like the following content:

In Memory of Sneaky - Farewell on Elune US on the 23rd

One of the most involved community members of the 15-19 XP-locked bracket and the entire twinking community, Sneaky, has passed away. We will never forget you, and you'll always be our Most Valuable Player. To carry on Sneaky's memory, I hope many people who knew him will attend an in-game vigil, as a symbol of respect and to show the world what an amazing person Sneaky was, earning the loyalty of so many people. We will be meeting in Darnassus on Elune US, home of most of Sneaky's characters.

Saturday, the 23rd, at 2 p.m. PST (GMT-8:00).

Wonderful, thank you. :) Could you change it to the following, decided on Darnassus. Thank you and sorry for the trouble. :)

Done.

After seeing all of these "Why must the good die young?" posts I felt the desire to share with you all a movie called The Tree of Life with Brad Pitt. Most people watch this movie and have no idea what is going on, but that is because they fail to recognize the subtle yet powerful themes it wields. As the Seattle Times puts it: "This film's rewards are many, for those with the patience to simply let it float." The movie is about a seemingly happy 1960s family that ultimately suffers from a very controlling father (Brad Pitt). The wife, on the other hand, symbolizes grace in the movie and has a famous quote in the beginning:

"The nuns taught us there were two ways through life - the way of nature and the way of grace. You have to choose which one you'll follow. Grace doesn't try to please itself. Accepts being slighted, forgotten, disliked. Accepts insults and injuries. Nature only wants to please itself. Get others to please it too. Likes to lord it over them. To have its own way. It finds reasons to be unhappy when all the world is shining around it."

The climax occurs when the middle child of the family, a beautiful, kind, and happy young boy (the mothers favorite son, who also represented Grace) dies suddenly and tragically. Thus emerges many questions of "Why him, Lord?" and "Why must such a great boy die so young?" The family suffers from their loss for the rest of their life, until at the very end of the film a magnificent scene is shown depicting a beach with many people walking on it. The camera pans around the beach and we see all the members of the family and community (including the young boy) hugging and crying with tears of joys. The mother concludes by saying "I give him to you, Lord. I give you my son". Thus, the theme that so many people fall short of noticing is that in the end, we will all see each other on the other side and be joyful. Each person that dies is in a better place, and we should not allow suffering to consume us. Clearly, Sneaky epitomizes the way of grace... offering nothing but kind words and help. I am certain that he is now in a happier place, smiling down on all of us.

R.I.P Sneaky - My heart goes out to his family and closest freinds. You truly left this world as a respected person by the whole twink community!

R.I.P. Sneaky.

Never got to know Sneaky that well but we had a mutual respect for each other for the way we played the game. Talked to him a few times when I was on my ally rogue or mage and I was playing with him. There were many great games I had playing against sneaky when I was on D as a frost mage playing against his rogue. He cared about the community and played the game the right way. R.I.P Sneaky

hard to find a more hard working individual. his attempts to rebuild this bracket confused me often however i realize he truly did care for the well being of this bracket and loved it. im glad i was able to talk with him often he's a very smart guy and genuinly a good person. the fact he always took a hit always bothered me a little bit whether it was the bracket trolling as per usual or his account being hacked repeatedly not to mention irl struggles. hard to beleive it and i know others feel the same way but i believe he is in a good place and that he shouldnt be remembered for his death.....he should be remembered for what he accomplished, what he loved, what he stood for, and what he has said to myself and others...RIP ill miss you friend

As a favor to Sneaky, can we take this opportunity to recognize the importance of making this bracket the best it can be? He would have wanted us to appreciate it a little more, setting aside our petty differences to try and make games better as a whole.

This. We all need to come together as a community again. Put all the petty stuff behind us, all the trolling has to stop.

Lets be a family again, for Sneaky.

Everyone who can, please make sure to support the forum threads on battle.net.

This may actually get less traffic if it's stickied - people tend to ignore stickies.
