Got news for you, I hope you have been getting some updated gear and enchants. Ring of Wrynn is nice for 19's but there is much better out there for a 20+ level toon. The 100 health will only give 38 post 6.0x. Resist on cloak has been nerfed to give + 1, the list goes on and on. At one time I am sure that was a nice 29. But, post 6.0 many of the grandfathered 29's are going to need a lot of work. That would is why I posted the "prepping" thread about 3 months ago.
Despite all the bad talk about the 20-24 bracket there are some very very good players here. Do not underestimate them.

Whatever. I'm sure there will be many 29's come 6.0 who have been playing the bracket every hour of every day for 25 years.

WoW hasn't been out for 25 years how is that clausible.
 
They oughta make it to where we are able to "Actually" scale to 29 and temporarily grant us the abilities. And when you're out of a BG, the Moves will still be on your action bar, but will probably say something along the lines of: "This ability cannot be used until level ____"

Honestly I don't see why this hasn't been implemented.

Aside from that, I'd hate to see Grandfathered modern enchanted twinks in 6.0
Reason I say that is because when 5.4 hit, enchants like 12 agil to cloak didn't scale to players that already had them enchanted on parachute cloak. I fear this will also happen in 6.0, where twinks now will keep their enchants.
edit: but if everything scaled in the ptr, I'll probably cool down and feel reassured.

I was hoping for this. Maybe mid-next expansion we'll see something like temporary skills/glyphs inside bgs.

I am having several old 35+ enchants on my 29 and I can tell that these are changed like any other but not scaling per level, am still getting full benefits. I didn't have enough mats to make a scroll and check if it's the same with the new ones but looking at the trainer I saw the scaled numbers for my level anyway and assume it will addapt to that in some ptr patch. I suspect that it also will happen for the old 12 agi to cloak and for stuff like resistance; on 29 its 4 for shadow and on a 10 its 2 shadow resistance so that one does scale with level atm.

Ill figure this out later today after another character copy.

Deleted quite a lot of posts.

Let's try to avoid the "f2p vs 29" and "Who owns the bracket?" arguments until the expansion at least arrives, eh... Those arguments only increase the tension in between communities and don't benefit anyone at all (no matter who's "right").

And, related to the topic, I'm hoping the quality of games improves with the nerf to enchants. With the difference in f2p's and p2p's decreasing, games might become a bit more competitive, since us f2p's might not be facerolled all the time... Quality of games definitely won't be great but at least it should be better.
 
You sure a full- on, preemptive, hate-offensive isn't the best way to go about this? I mean we could have GF'ed 29s already up to Saddam status by the end of October. I'm really feeling this real-world meta going on this bracket right now. Makes me think of some next level Eve stuff, from what I've heard.

The student protesters in Hong Kong are the only people with any balls in this world right now.

9 levels of scaling =(ish) minor stat buffs from super nerfed chants

the p2ps that are going to pull ahead are ones that are not 29 and benefit from both enchants and scaling

^^ that's if you don't care about losing an ability or two for more damage

He is stating that they will claim they are better simply because of the fact that they have played the game( or bracket) longer and more.. He is exaggerating, as he suspects they will, that they they have played WoW for 25 years.
It is the same way the trials claim "rights" to the 20-24 bracket because without their numbers the BGs would not pop. And the Subscribers state without them the trails would not have a game. Either way, it is an immature debate.

It certainly is not for 29's. I really wish I did not have to dissect each and every one of statements.

you said it was nice. In what way? It's useless to 19s. It's only value is nostalgic, it which case it's no less valuable to 29s because it was once bis.

And now youre trying to say you meant it as only a workable item.... We'll there are lots of other workable ones that people who know what they're talking about also wouldn't recommend.

The guy didn't ask for gearing advice but you decided you'd give it. The other day you Said you wanted things on topic and informative, but you just took it off topic and made it misinforming.

So yes, a dissection is always need when I read your posts
