To those of you who are fully aware of what just happened and the history:
You know what will happen if I spotlight it here. I won't subject you to that by responding directly. So if you're still with me, know that I have many many ideas I'd love to share with you. For the first time, my circumstances IRL support my ambitions here. It would be great to finally come through for you, my friends. I've made my appeal to Myrm directly, so as to avoid the drama. I've also made a proposition. If accepted, sweet! If not, I'll be moving on. Things are moving very quickly for me IRL and video game drama just doesn't fit into my budget.

But I would like for my voice to be heard too..........................

But I play Vet, what do I know? :/

And then she wants to talk back to you, to rethink it....

You listen, but, the decision is yours... not hers.

Which totally means, if you have a strong point, reconsideration may happen. Which again means, your voice will be heard.

It's not you it's me.

There's another bracket.

We can still be Battletag friends, though.

I just don't think I'm ready for a serious premade.

I never said, i wont be posting on the vet forums, because as many of you know, i have played vet before.

As i might have mentioned before, if f2p needs help in organizing stuff, i will ask at Vet subforum, if the separation happens.

The bracket is the same, there are just subforums.

eco what are u doing lol go test prot for us!

Quite frankly I have a Vet gear set just to use when pitted up against opposing 29s, and strong 20 Vet classes, other than that I'm usually in my main F2P set.

But then again I don't play live very often.

Hey fael I know we have them ingame issues often but nice to see your active somewhat. I know you and the rest of the Djbouti crew have other sets but not many other vets do or use them like yall.

Yeh you said you have many ideas in a previous thread I made at the start of WoD about increasing F2P activity, yet you're very inactive. Would like to see these ideas come into practise and not be all talks on the forums.

Trialmop, since your unban you have been acting like the sole voice for trial 20s. plz stop posting so much. Things have been working fine since they changed it. thanks :)

I'm not the only one that has a issue with the way the bracket is. You left f2p for 90 then vet a while ago so I can understand why you want it to stay the same. Most f2ps want to be separated don't get upset that me and others are making sure that voice is heard. This is not a debate thread such as the other the arguments on the other thread is what Myrm will listen to. Don't tell me how much or how little to post either I had a calculated 10% of the post of the other thread which is not too much. Your opinion should of been posted in the other thread if you didn't say everything you wanted to then. So far only p2ps and vets want it to stay the same as you see post above is by only p2p/vet players who also play f2p .

Let me take a second here to throw some reality on this conversation.

1) I am not a Veteran, I still play Starter, as anyone would know if they clicked on my signature pic. So the argument that I'm making decisions based on what's best for Veterans only, because I am one, is ridiculous.

2) I'm not actually making any decisions at all... the entire community made the decision for the forums to be organized the way they are, in a process that took over a month and involved at least three polls if not more. There is no question in the minds of anyone who was actually here during those discussions that the results reflected the will of the community as a whole, even if it did not (and, logically, could not) be the ideal solution for every individual.

3) Trialmop was not one of the people who was actually here during those discussions because he was under permanent ban, so he is not aware of everything we went through to get where we are today, and coming back now and trying to insist that it has to be changed, while remaining ignorant of everything we went through to get it this way, is naive.

4) It's important to note that the thing that Trialmop got banned for previously was for doing exactly what he is doing now... spamming the forums, pushing his personal opinion on everyone else and claiming to speak for the majority, and being obstinate and conceited. You would think that a Golden Ticket to return, in the form of a blanket reprieve for all permabanned members, would be treated with more caution, but if I've learned one thing as a moderator, it's that people basically never stop misbehaving in the same manner no matter how many times they get in trouble for it.

Everything has been absolutely fine here since we made the change, and now two things have happened: a new owner has come in whose experience is limited to the 19s section, and a few people who were permabanned for being pests are now released back onto the forums again. Given that combination it's not surprising that suddenly we have drama here, but we fixed it once and we can fix it again.

I think he's been really polite since return. :O

The discussion is pretty calm, so I think it's a bit harsh to call the current posting spamming or being a pest!

Let's just all get along? :)

I'm not, I'm merely pointing out that that's what it was in the past, and I think that the implication that the community has to be "saved" by Myrm from myself is pretty loaded in itself... it doesn't need saving, it needs the recently released users to take some time to gain some perspective before raising a stink, is all.

I was banned for arguing with users personal opinion and it was clearly stated in the ban. I haven't spammed the forums at all. I posted only 10% in the other thread and made 2 seperate threads that have nothing to do with this issue.

I was still able to see the site while banned and used it through other people. Many f2ps that have used the site mentioned the way the site worked they didn't 100% like. I haven't said I'm speaking for all F2P but most I've seen here wanted a change.

Get your facts straight about a ban before you post publicly on it as your clearly not educated on the matter.
You have a F2P but from what I was told by you in game your very inactive or was very inactive on it.
Just waiting on Mrym to give a decision.

As Yde said your organization didn't fix anything, inactivity did. You took opinions from people who were either 19s, Vets, P2Ps who might have f2ps as well. Many f2ps have already told me how things went and it wasn't the most reasonable of a operation.

Cripzblood and Yde are telling part of the story too. Cer even said he could see us being separated a better thing to do. What are you talking about recently released members? You aren't blizzard we have a voice too that may or may not have been heard for multiple reasons the first time. This time we are speaking up. We need Myrm to save us and its true because clearly your not for our perspective. Im not trying to take this any further, I have replied to many people and posted what I feel on the matter. I can proudly say its over and what ever happens happens.

As far as I know I've never spoken to you in-game. But this isn't up for conversation. I feel it was an understandable but misguided mistake on Myrm's part to even approach this issue, as he (like yourself) was unaware of how we've worked in the past to get where we are now. I still maintain that the number of people who have said that they want a change is somewhere around 5 people. That's not enough to warrant upsetting everything that we've built that works so well. You have stated your opinion, and it's been heard, and there's no reason to keep repeating it. While your specific ban was because you turned your rants against a particular person, everyone here knows your reputation and the history of all the reports and infractions against you are still available to the staff. I'm not interested in going in circles with you, that's not how this is going to play out. You've stated your opinion, now show me that you have changed your ways during your permanent ban, and stop repeating it everywhere.

Im not just blindly repeating what I say, im replying to constant points of view or people that might of not even seen them. If no one replied to me or the topic I would not even post about it. I was just chillin looking at the f2p pvp memories thread and look what we have now.

Mrym was never misguided at all Myrm was addressing a clear issue. You feel its not a issue because you already made a decision on it you say before. That's fine but lets see what Myrm things about the debating done that has been for the most part constructive.

If I had not changed I would of been bated in by goesid insults already and everything im posting has a point or reason to it for the most part. I am not trying to upset you or anyone. Im trying to keep my post down on this issue but seems I am getting more and more replies or affiliations with new comments on it. Ill be glad when a final decision is made.

How about we just merge this thread into the other one? The title was a product of frustration, having a civil discussion that you still want to participate in suddenly locked can do that, and Trialmop immediately calmed down after all. :)

On the other hand I do get that pages of discussion on a seemingly already permanently settled dispute are overwhelming to read, so I also understand the motivation behind locking it until Myrm can form a clearer picture. :)

Since there were some good points raised in here it could just all go into the discussion thread to be evaluated at a later date, since I'm sure Myrm is pretty hassled with the Cup and implementing changes as well.

The vBulletin site builder and admincp can be confusing as heck so the effort of technical management of the forum shouldn't be underestimated! Especially for someone new to it.
