Sanctuary Wargames Open to Pugs

Sanctuary / HoneyBadger for the last 5 days has been trying to contact Horde & Alliance guilds looking to do Wargames / Semi-Premades. Still looking for a Horde guild to commit. We had 2 Alliance guilds who were interested.

So until then were looking to run. Wargames w/ pugs

The reason to start this is to bring competitive games to the bracket with instant Ques. In the past we only had Wargames exclusively to Sanctuary Aly Guild vs Sanctuary Horde Guild.

If HoneyBadger gets enough whispers, messages on thread or contacted in game then, HoneyBadger will make a thread with roster spots for a viable compositions.

For a more balanced feel since we are looking for fun not blow outs. HoneyBadger was thinking of letting both teams having set rules.

1 FC
3 Heals
3 range
3 melee

2 stealth class only per team
*( if you have 2 Druids) must not be of same spec)*

* 2 Resto healers would just be retarded IMO. I see this rule is working well in 19 bracket.

We would post a roster showing both teams and vacancies that need to be filled by geared pugs.

(Only 2 games will be played , if a tie occurs. No tie breaker / 3rd Game ran)

Things allowed :

Pots would be allowed / No free action potions
All tunnel jumps allowed
Engineering bombs

Things not allowed:

MCP
Emotes of any kind not even friendly ones or tickles lol
Tea bagging
Flags of ownership
Flame threads on twinkinfo

Must have vent, Mic is optional but is a huge plus. Sanctuary on both sides is a plus so we can get instant qued games, plus enforce fair policies on both sides.

Please give me feed back if people would be interested to join such a game would love to get this going in 2 weeks on certain nights. Looking to start off 1 time every 2 weeks or once a week on certain nights.

HoneyBadger hopes we can get some LIKES to push this idea. First step in to 10 vs 10 Guild Premades in bracket.

ADDED : To get this going We are just going to make sure same number of heals, range are same on both teams

Howdy! I am the leader of <Tune Squad> a very new horde 20-24 guild. As of now, My brother and I may be able to play with you all. Still waiting on some of our people to level but my brother and I are geared and ready to go. I am a Windwalker Monk and my brother is a Survival Hunter. We are still waiting to make our debut in the bracket. Possibly tonight you will see <Tune Squad> in action.

But other then that, we are interested in helping you guys out in some scrimmages!

(this step is to get guilds out there and starts establishing regular 10 man Ally vs Horde) builds relationships between GMs gives active players in thoses guilds Premade experience

Steps 3 :

Guild 10 man VS. Guild 10 man ( All under same guild tag ) a real Premade

Guilds who have been participating in these game in step 1 & 2 have hopefully built strong relationship with other factioned guilds can start premading.

Step 4:

All star game
"Wishful"

Every 3 months have a best of best list for each faction for spec and class and do a All star roster for a 2 out of 3 game. Twinkinfo would decide on active players for each class

Step 4 is really reaching but hey HoneyBadger can dream lol. Welcome to the bracket bugs. HoneyBadger will message you for more info.

The 20-24 bracket has been good to HoneyBadger. HB is trying to find a way to give back.

I was trying to get Faith, Duo and Somfas to do that last night.

Didn't pan out.

Anywoozle, I think premade v premade is a good idea in this bracket. But that's because I was promoting it...

all the rules seem fair except I think teams should be able to decide what classes comprise their 6 dps whether it be melee or range, seems like you're catering for your own guild's setup

also potions? swift pots + free action potions would be ridiculous

There's nothing wrong w/ setting a specific comp for dps type being set. It helps even out the dps so that it's a little more even and a little less "wait for stacks and then go burst shit down w/ all our range".

fair enough, but I definitely think that allowing free action + swiftness potions is absurd

#1 how is it my guilds set up? my guild is on both sides

#2 im plan on playing horde side, im allowing pots against me that would help worgen druids

#3 Dimples (Best in show) had already heard this and said yes to these ideas

#4 all these rules no guilds is being forced to play with us

the limitation of range was decided to not have all range classes to avoid less mid strat and bring a fun game to avoid wiping the other team in the first 45 secs of the game n containing/pinning them down at Gy. Teams would have to think about what melee would benefit them most to their own comp.

As far as pots are concerned things can be worked out, but if we go with certain pots being banned, might as well banned bombs from engineering. i dont want to go there cause its not a premade its a scrimmage a "friendly scrimmage"

Just F.Y.I. for Sanctuary members that i haven't been able to contact. This is for Sanctuary with Pugs event.

Hß - will be supervising both sides

Luda - Will running be Horde Wargame / Premade Officer
Wookie - Will running be Ally Wargame / Premade Officer

Status Update :

1: Wookie and Luda are working their own team's composition <======== currently half way

2:
a)Then filling in with only 5 Sanctuary members that are geared on Ally & Horde side
b) Luda & Wookie will be contacting members who fit there team's comp*

* These members have to understand what kind of up hill battle we have & will be facing as we are trying to bring other people/guilds into 10 vs 10 to bracket* & Weekly Arenas slowly but surely

3: we will then post on twinkinfo what class and spec are needed along with back ups ( incase irl stuff happens ) hopefully will take a few days

Team leaders have picked the teams comps. Will link armories and open up soon spots that are open. When spots are open will need an armory link of people applying to fill spots. Still trying to figure out what day mon- thurs will be chosen.

Started updating people already also started putting open spots available if interested contact me thru here with real id and class you would like to fill and faction. Also armory link helps alot.

Example: I'm interested in rogue spot on horde side or back up incase someone doesn't show up

I commend you for putting this together, but let me ask this... and I am not trying to be a smartass... doesn't it get boring playing against your own members? I was part of a 19 guild back in Cata that did wargames and arenas against each other and it got boring playing the same team/comp 2-3 times in an evening.

What I would like to see is some guild on guild action. I know that Jukedyo of Pony was trying to get something going a while back but nothing ever happened.

Edit: Oops. I didn't read all of it... didn't see that you guys were mixing in pugs. Should read the entire title next time.

Alot of guilds are dead. So we been talking with new and upcoming guilds, new and upcoming are guilds that are active and que daily . We are really not trying to promote people who don't play this bracket just to log on to there twink once every 2 weeks. Also trying to work with guilds that don't flame on twinkinfo. If you haven't notice flaming on 20-24 forums have cut down. I have gotten with other guild leaders to put steps into friendly games from in game to forums. This is a lengthy process, plus I been a active supporter of Aerie Peak Ally " A-Team"

Are goal is guild on guild 10 man but its a lengthy process to get this going plus commitment from both guilds& it's members.

** Free action pots are being discussed ** on being banned on games

After games will have a discussion with all 20 people on what rules need to be added or removed for more fun games along with talks on compositions of teams.

Filling roster spots as commitments come in.Need more alliance to step up.
