Training Dummy Weapon Enchants Proc Rates

Thought I'd make a new thread specifically for some Weapon Enchants Testing.

All tests done on a 19 WW Monk on a Raiders training dummy at Summer's Rest, Pandaria. Gear is same on each test except for Weapons / Weapon Enchants. All tests over 5 minutes - because I'm not a robot rotation will not be perfect on every (any) test ....

DPS / Total damage will not be indicative of PvP / PvE numbers due to the misses / blocks / parrys on the Raiders training Dummy, I've included it to compare between enchant set ups.

Edit - All Weapons are scaled level 19 - http://www.wowhead.com/item=134636/recruits-cleaver is the Blue

Berserking seems to have a decent proc rate, even when put in off-hand, as opposed to some other popular buff proc enchants. Could you test weapons that you would actually consider using in a PvP scenario, such as dual-wielding BG weapons x2, or BG weapon + shadowfang OH, or dual-wielding shadowfangs?

It's important that you test the enchants in "same case" scenarios, i.e. testing x main-hand and x off-hand enchant against y main-hand and y off-hand enchant with the same main-hand and off-hand weapon. That will give the most accurate presentation of the differences between the enchants, even with weapon speed being normalized (just OCD testing).

Most interesting damage differences from what I can see here, would be to test:

Main-hand Dancing Steel
Off-hand Berserking

I was more interested in the proc rates and uptimes vs actual damage numbers. The miss / parry / dodge chance is quite high on the Raiders training dummies, for example I had several instances of Rising Sun Kick missing 3 or 4 times in a row, which made overall damage lower than on a squishy target ... and potentially inconsistent across the tests.

I can't test Shadowfangs or Dual Wield BG crate weapons only got one, hopefully PTR character copy is still working so I can copy over my enchanter this evening.

As a side note a MW monk is actually stronger and easier to play as Melee than a WW monk, less resource management and equal damage ...

Is there no target dummy that can be hit consistently by low levels? Other than the toy.
It also doesn't necessarily have to be the weapons I mentioned, as long as all the comparisons are done with the same weapons.

I'll do some more testing tonight using the BoA Agility Swords and using the different Enchants on them. ( Partly because I have a pair with Dancing Steel and Mongoose enchants )

Faction changing on the PTR isn't always available, so I'll probably stick to where I'm testing now, and it provide some consistency between the 2 sets of tests.

I may not get the full set done tonight as <BLNT> should be Wargaming and I need the practice.

Edit: My Gut feeling is Weapon swapping will produce the best results. So DS Proc>Swap to Ele Force or possibly double proc weapon swaps?

Why not use Sturdy Love Fool as dummy? It scaled to your actual lvl.

I probably could if I had one.

I might try and make the above easier to read later on this evening

Testing needs to be done on the scaling test summy toy.. turnip punching bag or something?? Lol.

Parrys and dodges and shit make this kinda useless.

Depends on what numbers you were looking for, proc uptime which is what interested me over a 5 minute period. The damage numbers whilst not telling true maximum are comparative with each other, which is why I included them.

Toys don't copy to the PTR so I used what was available. If you want to provide some better analysis and number please do so.

On the PTR, the raiding target dummies in Valley of Honor (where you lock your XP) scale to your level now so I've been trying out different enchants on my lvl 20. It's awesome.

simple mathmatics and playstyle will determine what enchants are bis, testing shit unless done over an hour per enchant isnt a real test.
