My only issue so far with this mode is that you can’t use old chars, so if you want those gems you will need to create a new char.

Def looking forward to finding broken stuff in this tho, maybe make an evoker or allied race on it, and then have it unlocked as f2p.

Awesome list! Looks like there should be enough to keep 20s busy for awhile. The Blizzpost made it sound like the gear upgrades are farmable.

I'm wondering what the fallout from this is going to look like. Seems like Blizzard is giving players a chance to play with broken toys before the next expansion drops and everything gets outclassed by quest greens. Kind of reminds me of what they did with corruption.

They'll probably make the gems/gear inert once The War Within drops, but if their assumption is that everyone is just going to vendor their old gear anyways... Maybe Blizz won't even bother and Vets/F2Ps will just get some cool new bitties to play with.

It is unclear what the bronze is used for, but might be more collectibles or gear.

Looks like Bronze is going to be the event's currency. From the Blizzpost:

Convert unwanted items into Bronze which can be used to upgrade items or purchase cosmetics.

-no legendary cloak questline, but if you level to 70 and get the max level cloak you obtain a toy with the visual effect and unlock the ordos zone for the whole account.

So the toons we make are deleted once event is over? Unless there are some BoA things we can unlock like old SoO looms, I don't see much reason for me to do it. Unless we can xfer whatever toon we progress back to retail once it ends.
