Edit: tried it with all haste gear i have on me + judg. of the pure + haste elixir it's down to 1.57 sec for holy/divine light and 0.942 for flashes (with totem it would be even less

i can get 75% haste, which gets HL/DL down to .571 with just JotP, witching hourglass proc and following HS crit (1.43HL/DL, .856FoL w/o HS crit)

with just JotP i have 44% haste which is 1.07 sec FoL/1.74HL

pretty sure GCD is still capped at 1sec but with raid buffs im just about at barrier which is perfect. with this gearing set up pretty much the only times you die is to multiple blanket silences & no CDs, which will kill a resil stacked pally or a mastery stacked pally just as easily. but ill be healing faster and stronger XD



i can get ungodly fast cast times with full raid buffs, DF and/or timewarp, jotp, witching hourglass.....haste pot or elixir would be even more crazy

at that point youve got a cast at least every sec just droppin' heal bombs

It's capped at one second. The only point in going for haste beyond gcd capping is to bring your spells to 1sec, or to make them close to instant with talents such as Infusion of Light.

Might consider the 21 crit rating +3% critical effect meta for holy paladins. The metas now affect healing aswell as damage, so it improves the holy shock crits we get (which are huge with wrathful 4set + crusade)

theyve affected healing forever, however for pvp the silence reduction is better (imo) since the only thing that will allow us to be killed is basically being chained silenced. in my gear i have 45.56% crit (with kings), and i dont even have ideal full BiS (missing 277 tier, few other odds n ends). my point being, that with full raid buffs i have over 50% chance to crit, so i personally dont need that meta and the silence reduction is more valuable. so if you gear like i do than take the forlorn skyflare....however if you run the full pvp setup and are starving for crit, then its not the worst choice of a meta...but you still prolly wanna give forlorn a good second look

Depends how you look at it. with 4.3 they changed the dps metas from 3% crit damage to 3% crit effect. This makes your heals (when they crit) 6% stronger. Pretty decent if you stack crit (like holy will probably do). And tbh, from all the pvp I've been doing recently as holy, I don't die in a silence. I don't die much to melee at all, just because plate + ~45% resilience. Granted the forlorn meta is nice, but the chaotic is fairly easy to activate and provides quite a benefit. As for crusade, 30% holy shock healing is really, really nice. Makes holy shock heal for 30% more. Instant spells > casted ones in pvp, so in this case crusade > divinity. (you can still grab eternal glory np)

well i guess it all comes down to playstyle/experience then cuz for me silences (especially chained blanket silences ex. CS -> Silence) is instant death, at least with no CDs/support peeling (i only roll with 25% resil though, and 63% physical red. from plate). i also dont have enough room to get full crusade with my holy talents b/ci have sort of a hybrid shockadin build which lets me put denounce on everyone and put pressure on a team while still tossing out massive heals. which is another thing, 30% of HS is legit, but at the same time i mostly just use that to proc instant FoL/quickDL/HL its not like the be all end all heal, which is why 30% less is ok for me, especially b/c i still have 9% healing from conviction, 5% from glyphed insight, and 6% from divinity.



also eternal glory isnt worth it for me. i can generate holy power so fast that 30% chance is nothing for me to even care about



also, best thing to do is just have a helm with each. i have chaotic in my wrathful helm, and forlorn in my tier helm and can switch depending on the situation, always best to be prepared for anything

Aye, hence the term "Option". However, I've specced denounce too

I just skipped divinity. Blanket CS does have a DR though, so it's fairly simple to deal with. In BGs the people focusing me are rarely alive long enough to keep dpsing through more than 1 CS, so I just trinket/bubble it.

Also, why t7 shoulders? t8 can get you more mastery and more stamina. It's nice outside of that however, I just wish it was chardev not wowhead

The t8 shoulders only have 1 stat, they used to have shield block but they removed it and did not replace the stat so its just one stat at the same level
